Seeking Workshop Facilitators for South Asian Network in Artesia

South Asian Network, Artesia is a community for people of South Asian origin to gather and discuss social, economic, and political issues affecting the community, with the goal of raising awareness, engagement and advocacy among community members leading to an empowered and active community. They provide a lot of workshops at their center and AAPSA is looking to lead a workshop for SAN in the upcoming months.

Below are a couple of examples we could be involved with:
- Workshop for caregivers of women caring for children and aging parents on mental health and stress.
- Workshop for caregivers of Alzheimers or dementia on mental health and stress.
- Workshop for a support group for survivors of domestic violence on self-care or trauma.
- Workshop for their own staff on dealing with clients and setting boundaries (how to be firm with some of their pushy clients).

If you are interested in being involved in creating and facilitating these workshops, please contact julie.ser@pepperdine.com
